چکیده
This paper presents a radiopropagation algorithm based on Ray Tracing (RT) technique that combines modified multipath model for constant refractivity gradient profiles and the Uniform Theory of Diffraction (UTD). A novel formulation is proposed by authors calculation ground-reflection analysis ray paths depending atmospheric refractivity. The introduced herein was evaluated in mixed scenario two more realistic case studies, under conditions lossy terrain profiles. Pathloss results are obtained compared with Parabolic Equation (PE) numerical solution at 2.0 GHz, 3.5 GHz 5.4 GHz. In such conditions, showed satisfactory results.

investigating the feasibility of a proposed model for geometric design of deployable arch structures
deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...
A modified artificial neural network based prediction technique for tropospheric radio refractivity
Radio refractivity plays a significant role in the development and design of radio systems for attaining the best level of performance. Refractivity in the troposphere is one of the features affecting electromagnetic waves, and hence the communication system interrupts. In this work, a modified artificial neural network (ANN) based model is applied to predict the refractivity. The suggested ANN...
متن کاملA multipath model for the powerline channel
The development of powerline communication (PLC) systems for Internet, voice, and data services requires measurement-based models of the transfer characteristics of the mains network suitable for performance analysis by simulation. This paper presents an analytic model describing complex transfer functions of typical powerline networks using only a small set of parameters. The model is based on...
متن کاملA Constant Gradient Planar Accelerating Structure for Linac Use
Planar accelerating millimeter-wave structures have been studied during the last few years at Argonne National Laboratory in collaboration with Technical University of Berlin. The cavity structures are intended to be manufactured by using x-ray lithography microfabrication technology. A complete structure consists of two identical planar half structures put together face-to-face. Since microfab...
متن کاملMeasurement of the Structure Constant of Refractivity at Optical Wavelengths Using a Scintillometer
The structure constant of the atmospheric refractive index is used for characterizing the turbulence strength and for predicting the scintillation of electromagnetic waves in atmosphere. It is measured continuously in Prague using an optical scintillometer. First monthly and seasonal statistics obtained from the data gathered in the summer 2011 are provided. Lognormal distribution parameters ar...
